Now in its second year, the College House Alumni Ambassadors (CHAA), a Penn Traditions program, is a partnership between Alumni Relations and College Houses and Academic Services which provides exciting opportunities for current Penn students and Penn alumni to interact in meaningful ways.

Alumni return to campus in droves for Homecoming and Alumni Weekend. To connect these alumni events with undergraduate student life, CHAA encourages current students to get involved and become an integral part of the two major alumni celebrations held on Penn’s campus.

Starting in the Fall semester, each College House adopts one of 13 quinquennial reunions. As CHAA, Student volunteers work alongside alumni leaders to add a personal touch to the reunion year events which come to a finale during Alumni Weekend.

In addition to teaching current students about the value and privilege of being Penn alumni, our alumni reconnect with the University of today from the vantage points of current students, while simultaneously discovering the vibrant spirit of community created by Penn’s College Housing system.

In addition to the hard work it entails and the fun experiences it facilitates, the CHAA program serves to illustrate the importance of active membership in the Penn family to all parties involved: from first-year students to seasoned Old Guard alumni.
