POINTS SYSTEM

College Houses can earn points towards the House Cup through the Department of Recreation's intramural sports system and special events run by the Residential Advisory Board.

Department of Recreation Intramural Sports

College House Leagues
Intramural Sport Leagues will take place in both the fall and spring semesters in special College House Leauges where the Houses will face-off against each other in league and tournament formats. These events are run by the Department of Recreation and the results are reported to the Residential Advisory Board.

Points System
Participation – 50
1st place – 200
2nd place – 100
3rd place – 50
4th place – 50 (If a difference cannot be determined between the 3rd and 4th place teams)

*Participation points will be issued to a College House if they sign up and participate in all of their scheduled games. If a team forfeits a game due to a lack of players, they lose their participation points. If you have multiple teams per sport in a College House, a forfeit from any team will cause that College House to lose their points. If a team from a House earns places in multiple high positions (ie. 1st and 2nd) then they will earn all of those points.

Non-College House Leagues
The Department of Recreation also offers a number of Intramural Sport Leagues which are not specific to College Houses. Some of these events are multi-event leagues, while some are one-day events. Having a College House participate in these events will earn participation points and a chance at bonus points if they are declared the overall winner of the event.

Residential Advisory Board Events

The Residential Advisory Board will allow each College House to host a one-day event of their choosing in which College Houses can earn points. The Residential Advisory Board will also be hosting their own events throughout the year. Many of these events are still being planned so please check back here soon for dates
