Highlighting the concept of metamorphosis throughout her work, Cecilia Paredes uses her own body to inform the outcome of her art and also constructs objects related to the forms of Nature. Cecilia is part of Art in Nature and the Natural World Museum.

Among other interests, Cecilia is part of "Transparency," an organization that
supervises elections in Latin America and Art in Action that relates to global
change concerns. Cecilia speaks Spanish as her mother tongue.
