KCECH GA wins Fulbright Grant

Gina Elia, a Graduate Associate in Kings Court English College House, has been awarded a Fulbright Grant. This prestigious grant comes from a program sponsored by the United States government beginning in 1946, intended as the flagship international educational exchange program designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.  Ms. Elia is a fourth-year PhD candidate in the department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, specializing in modern Chinese literature. Her dissertation examines the formation of religious literary modernity in the work of mainland Chinese authors in the first half of the twentieth century.
