As part of the relocation of the ISC datacenter from 3401 Walnut to Pennovation, CHAS servers will be unavailable from Friday 9/21 at 5pm through Saturday 9/22 at 1am while they are moved. (We are extending the outage window from 1am to 9am on Saturday in case there are issues and will list this as the scheduled end time in the email to the CHAS community.) While the actual outage may be shorter than the scheduled window, please plan for ALL CHAS servers and hosted applications to be down during this time - including but not limited to: All CHAS House and administrative websites – including service functionality such as room/event scheduling The IR System The Queue (tickets, ITA scheduling, etc.) Pharos Lab Printing Domain Controllers (potentially the ability to log into desktop and lab computers) CHAS File Shares (Box file shares will remain operational) Please plan to use alternate methods for affected system functionality during this outage window. Ryan will send backup instructions for the IR system. Centrally hosted services such as upenn.edu, Penn In Touch, Office 365 email, Box, and listservs, as well as system infrastructure like wireless networking and desk phones will not be affected by the outage.
