Amalya Lehmann, 2012 Awardee

Amalya Lehmann, 2012 CHDIKA AwardeeA two-year resident of Rodin College House and member of Rodin’s House Council, Amalya has combined a love of the arts, her scholarly work in the Music program, and a passion for sharing knowledge into activities and projects that benet both her fellow Rodin residents and the whole Penn community. Whether organizing Preceptorials at Rodin and beyond, planning trips to New York and Philadelphia museums and performances, playing in recitals with the College House Music Program, or organizing Sabbath meals, she has nurtured community and brought the University’s intellectual riches into her College House.

Sara Allan, Honorable Mention

Sara Allan, Honorable MentionA passion for environmental sustainability has been the driving force behind Sara Allan’s activities at Penn. An Eco-Rep at Ware College House, Sara has worked to make Ware a greener, more sustainable House through writing grant proposals and creating an environmental blog. She also serves as the Social Media Director for the Green Schools Alliance, which helps high school students around the world work together to create a sustainable future.
