The equipment loan program is available for all College House residents.

The equipment pool currently has laptops with Microsoft Windows and Mac Operating Systems available for loan.

Laptops borrowed from CHAS Technology will come with the same software found on lab computers -- JMP, Maple, Microsoft Office, Matlab, SPSS, R, and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) Much like the computers in the computer labs, the files on each laptop will be erased when the laptop is powered off, so borrowers will need to ensure that they save their files on another storage device or in the cloud prior to shutting the laptop down. Please note that quantities and availability are limited.

The laptop loan period is 5 business days.

Your due date will be sent to you upon checkout.

You may renew a maximum of 1 time for an additional 5 business days - just please reply to your original request if you wish to do so.

The borrowed laptop should be returned by making an appointment. To coordinate a pickup time, reply to the original request ticket.
