College House residents feed hungry families

College House residents gave generously in this year's Camp Out for Hunger food drive sponsored by Philabundance and WMMR's Preston & Steve. This food drive, the largest single-location food drive in the country, is in its 26th year with the mission of providing healthy meals to communities facing food insecurity in the Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey regions this holiday season. This year CHAS's partners in Penn Facilities and Real Estate Services placed collection boxes in College House lobbies; FRES reports that they collected a whopping 1,147 pounds of food this year, beating their previous record.
