Harrison RA publishes breastfeeding research

Penn News reports that Harrison RA Stephanie Acquaye, a senior in the Nursing School, co-authored research published in the Journal of Perinatal Education. Acquaye, who is a trained doula, designed the research project to reflect her interest in lactation support for new mothers, and found that the assistance of a doula can improve breastfeeding outcomes.
