The Daily Pennsylvanian recently reported on the effort underway at New College House to design the coat of arms for the House. The New College House Traditions Commission has been working to establish a basis for the evolving character and culture of the House and a crest to match the "pillars" of New College House—diversity, leadership, research and sustainability— is about to be voted on by House residents.
The Amistad Gallery at the W.E.B. Du Bois College House presents The Afro-Latinx Experience: Philadelphia Stories by Sandra Andino, Ph.D. This gallery was conceived and implemented by former Faculty Director, Professor Terry Adkins. The exhibit will run from November 11, 2016 to December 12, 2016. Read more here.
College Houses are now accepting proposals for 2018-19 College House Research Program Fellowships! Each House will select an undergraduate research fellow to receive a $1500 award to undertake a research project in any discipline or area of study.
